The odds that I’ll ever get to take a photo of an international supermodel again are astronomically slim, so thank you, Lily Cole! And she’s one of my favorites, too, so I was so stoked! Such a stunning, smart young woman. (The perfect brand advocate for The Body Shop, really, but that’s another post altogether.)
And yes, I am still a frustrated redhead. :/ Hopefully in my next life, I will be red-haired, alabaster-skinned, and green-eyed. And taller than 5’6”. (FYI, I’m 5’4”.) And still fabulous. With a pretty accent.

I have never kept a secret like this to myself THIS long, but…
I’m kind of freaking out because my choice of shoes for prom is riding on this. I mean, I need to know if I need to stick to a heel height limit or I’ll be completely liberated, right? O_o Not that I’ll mind wearing low heels if it’s necessary. Gosh, I need ice cream. There’s a gallon of green tea in the freezer but I can’t touch it~

This is Tumblr, my happy place. I am allowed to say what I feel, especially since I barely genuinely do so. Deal with it.
If I just hadn’t worked my ass off for it or weren’t in cotillion or too emotionally invested in my awesome dress, I would just skip prom altogether. I’m not the prom kind of girl and I’ve always thought it was superficial, but I didn’t expect it to get this bad. Amber said no one brings a date or is expected to bring a date to the HC prom. Merlin’s sake, how that would make things so much less complicated. Plus, I’d really like to be rid of the resentment I feel towards the whole organization.
